Responsibilities
Analyze models and drawings and convert them into efficient processes with CNC programs for milling and turning machines.
Design and implement tooling and fixturing solutions to ensure accurate and repeatable part production.
Set up and operate CNC machines for initial part development and verification, following safety protocols and maintaining program accuracy.
Conduct test runs and troubleshoot any program or machine issues.
Maintain accurate and detailed CNC programs and process documentation (setup, in process drawings, etc).
Continuously improve machining processes and identify opportunities for throughput and productivity.

Required
Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC programmer, 10+ years experience in machining roles with significant setup experience.
Process development experience – should be able to design process and develop parts through first article making chips and preparing for production.
Proven experience in milling and turning operations.
Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) and Fanuc controls preferred.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and fixturing design.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines.
Preferred
Technical degree or apprenticeship/journeyman certs are a plus.
Solidworks experience.
