Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and modify architectural plans, including adding details, revising layouts, and creating construction documents.

Source and supervise outside consultants to ensure accurate completion of architectural and structural drawings.

Manage revisions to plans, identify upcoming product needs, and prepare scopes of work for consultants.

Conduct code research, initiate product design charrettes, and refine plan details for constructability and compliance.

Coordinate with internal and consultant team members, manage value engineering meetings, and maintain a Division plan library.

Evaluate structures' constructability, coordinate with the marketing department, and support land acquisition processes.

Initiate plan revisions, facilitate prototype plan walks, and provide updates on architectural plans.

Required

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree in Architecture, design, or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

Minimum three to five years’ experience in residential architecture.

Proficient in AutoCAD and in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required

Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
