Responsibilities

Leverage advancements in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI to support sustainability objectives and enhance efficiency in data center operations.

Required

Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field

OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) or consulting experience

OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

OR equivalent experience

2+ years of experience working in a role as a data scientist

Experience in working with software engineering teams, hardware engineering teams, and data science teams

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role

Preferred

Experience with large-scale product and service telemetry systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of data collection, processing, and analysis methodologies

Experience with Exploratory Data Analyses, Inference analysis, Predictive analysis (Regression, Classification etc.) and forecasting

Solid foundation in applied statistics and mathematics, with the ability to apply advanced analytical techniques to solve complex problems

Experience with analytical programming languages such as Python
