Responsibilities

Use established instructional theories to design and develop instructional content for instructor-led training and interactive multi-media instruction. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, student guides, storyboards and instructional video scripts as well as establishing clearly defined learning outcomes, performance objectives, and assessment items.
Design and implement synchronous and asynchronous courses up to level three interactivity, in accordance with current multimedia e-learning industry standards.
Create comprehensive written tests that link directly to learning objectives and assess the learner's specific knowledge required to perform a particular job duty. Types include true or false, matching, fill in the blank, and multiple choice.
Create performance tests that link directly to learning objectives and require learners to perform an observable task instead of selecting an answer from a list.
Develop multiple instructional products simultaneously and work independently or in a team.
Work directly with Subject Matter Experts and other client stakeholders.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
Five (5) years or more of learning development experience including instructional systems design, job task analyses, training curricula design, course materials development, assessments creation, and training evaluation systems and instruments
Experience applying FAA Safety and Technical Training (AJI) requirements to training projects
Expert analytical, communication, and research skills
Successful record of creating engaging course materials and assessments for classroom and online instruction
Proficiency using the ADDIE model and Kirkpatrick's approach to learning and training evaluation
Proficiency applying Blooms Taxonomy to all design aspects
Proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360
Proficiency with Blackboard Learning Management System in instructor or developer role
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred

Experience with synchronous and asynchronous course design up to level three interactivity
Experience in developing written and performance tests linked to learning objectives
Experience working with Subject Matter Experts and client stakeholders
Strong design skills and ability to uphold creative vision across projects
Ability to work within set scheduling requirements to consistently meet defined milestones
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong self-management skills and ensures work complies with established standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
