Responsibilities
Serve as a Project Engineer/Project Manager for civil/site design, land planning, and permitting for industrial, institutional, commercial, multifamily residential, and athletic/recreation facilities.
Design and plan athletic/recreation facilities for municipal, K-12, and higher education.
Coordinate staff, practice quality control procedures, complete project deliverables, and handle project billing/invoicing and staffing projections.
Mentor and train staff, assist in writing proposals, responding to requests for proposals/qualifications, and business development efforts.
Present and represent Gale at client meetings and obligations.

Required
Minimum B.S. in Civil Engineering
P.E. license
7-10 years’ experience related to all aspects of civil design (hydrology, grading, utilities, etc.) for a wide variety of development types
Well-versed in state and local permitting (environmental and municipal) practices
Familiar with sustainable design applications for civil work
Experience permitting with the various Water Management Districts (SJRWMD, SWFWMD, SFWMD) in the state of Florida
Solid communication/presentation/writing skills
Ability to lead design teams and mentor junior staff
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Civil 3D
