Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Product Owner to plan, design, and execute User Acceptance Testing.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of applications and systems at various stages of development.
Identify, log, and track bugs and inconsistencies, collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolutions.
Work closely with product owner and developers to understand requirements and functionalities, translating these into effective test cases.
Implement automated tests using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve the efficiency and coverage of testing processes.
Participate in Agile meetings (sprints, retrospectives, reviews) to provide insights from a QA perspective and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and product quality.
Maintain documentation on testing procedures, issues, and resolutions for reference and reporting purposes.

Required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in quality assurance, specifically with applications handling complex data systems and interfaces.
Proficiency in testing APIs and web services.
Strong background in automated testing tools and frameworks across different programming languages (e.g. Jest, Playwright, Selenium, PyTest, etc.)
Skilled in solving complex technical problems with efficient and effective solutions.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred
Prior experience in a fintech setting, particularly in FX and risk management.
Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Candidates with a background in data science and/or machine learning will have an edge, especially those who have applied these skills in financial contexts.
