Responsibilities

Technical management of major mission systems subcontractors

Innovative thinking to support program and customer needs

Passion for product development agility, velocity & quality

Architecting complex integrated software systems

Utilizing software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall

Designing and developing new software products throughout the lifecycle

Managing subcontractors or vendors

Analyzing technical requirements and translating them into actionable project plans

Adapting to changing priorities and requirements

Implementing software development best practices like code reviews, testing, and documentation

Required

Bachelor's of Science degree Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience

Strong technical background in software development, including proficiency in programming languages, software architecture, and development methodologies

Experience in working with distributed teams and managing subcontractors or vendors

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations

Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Familiarity with project management tools and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall

Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into actionable project plans and deliverables

Experience in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements

Familiarity with software development best practices, such as code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
