Responsibilities

Perform research methodology, data mining, and ad hoc reporting.
Analyze and present Medi-Cal claims data to uncover over-utilization of services, fraud, waste, or abuse.
Communicate results to upper management via oral presentations and translate raw data into reports.
Deliver reports on research findings and cost impact to stakeholders and upper management.

Required

Perform research methodology, data mining, ad hoc reporting
Working knowledge of SAS or Business Objects
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
Analyze and present Medi-Cal claims data
Good knowledge of the Medi-Cal fee-for-service and managed care programs
Effectively communicate results to upper management via oral presentations
Translate raw data into reports reflecting patterns and trends in Medi-Cal services
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Completion of the statement of qualifications and the state application
Submission of required application package documents
Include a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for this recruitment
Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)
