Responsibilities

Lead and motivate teams on both large-scale, high-profile projects and/or multiple smaller projects.
Manage costs, hours, scope, quality, and schedule of each assigned project.
Report financials to senior management and provide status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead internal and client-facing meetings, workshops, and process improvement initiatives.
Follow rigorous project management processes and contribute new ideas for process improvement.
Play an integral part in project delivery and contribute to SSP's strategic goals.

Required

Bachelor’s degree is required.
5+ years’ experience in information technology or professional services as a Project, Program and/or Portfolio Manager in consulting services delivery model (externally client facing) required.
Direct and proven experience with Software Development and/or Software Implementation projects.
SDLC and other methodologies required (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
Direct experience with financial management of budget, hours tracking, invoicing and margin management.
Comfortable with Scope Management - including having direct conversations with clients when scope is being expanded.
Will be expected to meet utilization goals of the PM role and within the ePMO organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
Highly detail oriented - following through like a hawk on traditional PM duties (RAID log, taking meeting notes, following up on Action Items, etc.).
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to work and interact directly with clients independently and autonomously.
Demonstrated advanced project risk analysis and mitigation experience.

Preferred

PMI PMP certification is a candidate differentiator.
