Responsibilities

Asks questions about people, the business, and how we can use data to find solutions
Serves as a strategic thinker that can translate data to create well-informed decisions to enable strategic business outcomes
Collaborates with stakeholders, teammates, and business leaders to identify challenges and empower organizations with data
Communicates results to an executive audience to effectively tell the data story
Develops and automates data and analytical solutions for ongoing organizational needs
Defines, collects, and manipulates data sets to create structured hypotheses, identify patterns, and derive insights to drive decision making
Creates data visualizations using common visualization capabilities (R or Python libraries, Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, PowerBI etc.)

Required

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of analytics experience OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of analytics experience
Ability to extract and manipulate data from databases (e.g., SQL)
Ability to use statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python)
Proficient in data visualization using Tableau or similar visualization tool
Experience collaborating on projects with multiple teams, managing relationships, and communicating findings to audiences
Ability to work on-site in Suffolk, Virginia
Possesses a current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)

Preferred

Experience with people or talent related data analytics
Experience with data storage and retrieval techniques, ETL, and databases
Experience with U/X design principles
Ability to work with the upmost confidentiality when applicable
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a team
Solid statistical understanding and exposure to more advanced analytics, such as machine learning
