Responsibilities

Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.

Test and evaluate new programs.

Collaborate with developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts.

Design and implement programs supporting the transition to an online system.

Work with vendors to deploy workarounds and move data between systems.

Utilize technical areas such as Microsoft Azure, Data Factory, Data Lakehouse on Databricks, Microsoft SQL Server, and Power BI reports.

Design and develop Power BI reports.

Work under stressful conditions with multiple projects and deadlines.

Required

Work experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer

Preferred

Experience developing in C# and Visual Studio

Experience with SQL scripting, SQL syntax, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL programming in Microsoft SQL Server

Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization

Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams

Experience working with Data Factory and Data Lakehouse on Databricks

Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) in Microsoft Azure or other cloud hosting environments

Ability to design and develop Power BI reports

Ability to work under stressful conditions with multiple projects and deadlines
