Responsibilities

Applies knowledge of instructional design theory to design course content, working with project leads, subject matter experts, and working team

Creates new and refines existing learning programs incorporating future learning practices while working in an agile environment

Applies knowledge of adult learning theory to identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, course content, audience location, point within the learning process, etc. Designing is created for traditional classroom, online classroom, self-paced e-Learning modules or a blend of approaches.

Develops digital programs and applications considered complex in nature.

Reviews program evaluations, learning metrics, and participant and manager feedback on training effectiveness to make recommendations for program improvement.

Designs evaluation strategies and tools to measure program effectiveness, and to determine whether desired learning and performance outcomes are achieved.

Required

Bachelor's degree required, in addition to 7+ years of training design experience, to include leading training program design efforts.

Prior experience includes working with complex content and designing training for multiple delivery modalities (traditional classroom, online classroom, and self-paced e-Learning modules and performance support tools).

Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrates excellent project management skills. Has broad knowledge of instructional technologies, is thoroughly proficient in the advanced use of e-Learning tools and learning technologies.
