Responsibilities

Maintain healthy relationships with key stakeholders at each utility and act as a liaison between Perch Energy and each utility
Implement controls and validations to ensure the accuracy and timely receipt of utility data for monthly billing and crediting QC process
Monitor each solar farm's utilization rates and identify capacity refill needs
Perform routine tasks related to Perch's billing process, adjustments to sizing and the optimization of subscriptions
Run analysis on credits produced, allocated, utilized and banked
Engage cross functionally to support new market entry, go-to-market, and business readiness
Research, cleanse, and address data discrepancies in a timely manner
Collaborate internally to ensure the accuracy of billing for solar credits
Resolve customer billing inquiries escalated by the Customer Operations team
Perform regular reconciliation of data and processes to decrease risks and improve data integrity
Develop, deliver, and report on metrics to provide transparency into data quality
Develop subject matter expertise in Perch's subscription management processes

Required

Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Math, Data Analytics or an analytical/quantitative field – e.g., Statistics
2+ years' experience in an energy-related role; Community Solar or Renewable Energy
Mid-level experience in data analytics, providing insights, reporting on trends, and cleansing large datasets
Proven experience in driving critical data and process improvement across a small to mid-sized firm
Proven success working with external parties to implement complex solutions and resolve data discrepancies.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Domo or other reporting tool
Expert in MS Excel
Prior experience with Salesforce
Patient, communicative, team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, tenacity, and fortitude
Vigorous written and oral communication skills
Ability to distill complex information into simple actionable items
Curiosity about and commitment to clean energy
Strong alignment with and passion for the Perch values and mission

Preferred

Knowledge of EDI or electric utility consumption and billing data is a plus
