Responsibilities

Use advanced knowledge of eDiscovery processes, industry best practices, and data intake, processing, and loading technologies.
Work under the direction of the Project Manager and handle tasks as issued by the EPC.
Assist with the training of new EPC-specific contract staff as needed.
Troubleshoot loading and software utility issues as required.
Log, track, and assign tasks received in ATR’s Case Media and Tracking System database (CMTS).
Perform quality control checks on the data loaded by new and junior EPC staff.
Assist with creating and updating document processing procedures as needed.
Modify load files and perform quality control on loaded data quickly and accurately.
Run multiple load streams simultaneously.
Perform native file processing in iPRO.
Export data from Relativity to create load files for other various platforms as requested by Case Manager.
Perform data conversion processing, including conversions of various document types.
Perform quality control to confirm accuracy on loads completed by new Data Specialists.
Provide hands-on training to other Data Specialists as needed.
Perform basic Relativity searching and global updates to mark and/or tag records as requested.
Clearly and accurately discuss data inconsistencies found with Project Manager, Project Supervisor, as well as the Case Manager when necessary.
Assist on calls relating to data load file formats or media encryption software with Case Manager and other IT individuals as requested.

Required

Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required.
Must be able to recognize various electronic file types (e.g., Word, PDF, ZIP).
Must have some familiarity with MS Office desktop applications such as Word and Outlook.
Experience in multi-tasking is required.
Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
Experience with LAW, IPRO eCapture, Nuix, Relativity, Reveal, Everlaw, or other document processing platform.
Must have strong knowledge of litigation support data loading, file conversion and manipulation for loading to various database platforms.
Has experience with the litigation discovery process, including the EDRM workflow.
Requires experience with Relativity, LAW and IPRO processing or similar tools.
Expertise working with computers and a strong understanding of hardware components.
Attention to detail is vital.
Flexible with schedule and able to work extra hours when requested.
Undergraduate degree; preferably IT related.
Strong writing and verbal skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
Ability to estimate time required for a given task.
At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.
Must be a US citizen and be able to pass a federal government background check.
