Responsibilities

Demonstrate working knowledge of package engineering principles and techniques.

Design, prototype, and qualify new packaging concepts in compliance with design control requirements.

Evaluate and enhance existing packaging concepts.

Identify, analyze, and specify packaging materials and equipment.

Support external resources and contractors.

Communicate technical knowledge effectively and validate understanding of packaging test methods and standards.

Collaborate on medical device packaging system development and verification.

Utilize CAD tools for packaging design and apply statistical analysis in design experiments.

Adhere to standards such as ISO 11607, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
