Responsibilities

Leads projects or work streams within broader projects

Provides process and standards advice in specialty

Manages project management activities such as project reporting, planning, issue/risk identification, and tracking

Develops budget and statement of work for complex technology projects

Defines roles and responsibilities of the project team

Monitors project financials and updates plans with accurate information

Coordinates business subject matter experts and engineers to ensure project is appropriately staffed and resources are properly aligned

Maintains regular contact with internal clients and reports on project progress

Formulates operational strategies/tactics at the program level and executes against them

Builds a wide, active network across the enterprise

In-depth knowledge and expertise in job discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines

Ability to lead projects or work streams within broader projects

Accountability for work of self and sometimes others, providing process and standards advice in specialty

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team

Acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Leveraging advanced technical knowledge to plan and manage complex technology projects

Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications

Supporting larger, more complex projects or small technology programs composed of several projects

Managing and overseeing project management activities such as reporting, planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, internal client management, relationship management, and project documentation preparation

Developing budgets and statements of work for complex technology projects

Defining roles and responsibilities of project teams

Monitoring project financials and updating plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner

Following financial standards and processes (e.g., monthly external revenue accruals, procurement, and external payments)

Coordinating business subject matter experts and engineers to ensure projects are appropriately staffed and resources are properly aligned and managed

Maintaining regular contact with internal clients and reporting on project progress and accomplishments

Working with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute projects

Formulating operational strategies/tactics at the program level and successfully executing against them

Building a wide, active network across the enterprise and knowing when to engage/activate it
