Responsibilities
Interact with chemists to learn new chemical processes and guide operators through production.
Scale up production processes from the lab to the pilot plant.
Work closely with production operators when processes do not scale as expected.
Provide necessary supporting documentations for processing in the plant.
Conduct safety meetings, oversee processing execution, and review batch records.
Interact with chemistry and quality departments throughout the production process.
Meet with clients, vendors, and contractors.
Support pilot plant infrastructure.
Multi-task and establish priorities with supervisor.

Required
B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering with 3 or more years of relevant chemical processing experience
B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry with 4 or more years of plant experience also considered
Experience in a cGMP environment is a plus
Works effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Effective time management
Able to pay close attention to detail
Effective oral and written communication skills
Exhibits good judgement, makes sound decisions, seeks guidance as appropriate
Development troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
