Responsibilities
Support the movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers.
Ensure that freight is processed in compliance with governmental regulations (e.g., Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, etc.).
Collaborate with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments.
Provide administrative or technical support to ensure effective on-going operations.
Apply knowledge of established processes and procedures to execute with excellence.
Provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring.
Take a broad perspective to problems and spot new, less obvious solutions.
Identify key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.
Complete work with limited supervision and act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
