Responsibilities

Support the execution of the Global Procurement Vision to Shape Supplier Solutions that will Transform Healthcare.

Support a team of sourcing managers with key internal and external data analysis to facilitate smooth strategy development and implementation plan for the sourcing of specific packaging sub-categories that will effectively meet the long-range requirements of the relevant business partners and deliver the maximum value.

Support the team with monthly and yearly financial analysis aligned with business cycles.

Support sourcing managers and the leadership team with information, data and insights to support shaping the future technology choices and related supplier landscape for the specific sub-categories in scope.

Utilize insights generated from market research and industry trends to drive a mindset of current tactical optimization and new tactical innovation.

Prepare and execute RFQs for complex sourcing decisions, including reviewing data submitted by suppliers to formulate alternative sourcing scenarios.

Support strategic supplier relationships by collecting and reviewing relevant KPIs to effectively monitor ongoing operations.

Build and maintain relationships throughout J&J that results in dynamic interactive dialogue on a broad range of perspectives and information critical to the development of efficient approaches and solutions.

Required

Broad-based understanding of financial aspects of strategic and operational procurement.

Proficiency with data intensive analysis and large datasets.

Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information.

Ability to understand and influence individuals.

Demonstrated track record of delivering against targets and objectives.

Able to prioritize requests and propose effective alternatives when necessary.

Ability to show judgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues.

Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management, Category Management & Sourcing and Supplier Management) desired.

Strong level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community.

Ability to influence and understand differing needs of partners (e.g., Business, Procurement LT, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain).
