Responsibilities
Provide accurate, relevant, and timely legal advice on various topics
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Promote legal, compliance, and risk management best practices
Communicate with external bodies such as external counsel or auditors
Design and deliver legal training
Stay updated with changes in legislation affecting the company and manufacturing industry

Required
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Ohio
Excellent understanding and knowledge of commercial and corporate law
3 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer working in-house or in a leading firm
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business
Ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks in terms that non-legal colleagues can understand
Ability to work in a highly autonomous role
Self-motivated and team player
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willing to work overtime
