Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and translate user needs into actionable data solutions including complex reports and user-friendly dashboards using relevant data systems
Work closely with accounting, operations, and other departments to gather relevant data
Design, create, and maintain user-friendly, efficient, and accurate BI solutions
Build and maintain data models to support projection and long-term strategic planning
Evaluate the impact of potential business decisions and initiatives
Investigate key business problems by analyzing data to identify patterns and trends, translate analysis into insights, and define opportunities to drive business action
Compile, model, validate, and analyze various data sets
Develop and manage timelines for key customer deliverables in coordination with leadership and Analytics team members
Provide support and cross-training to junior Analytics team members

Required
5+ years of healthcare analytics, statistics, accounting, IT, or related experience
5+ years of SQL experience
2+ years of Tableau/Power BI experience
EPIC Cogito Fundamentals certification preferred (COG170)
EPIC Data Model certification preferred (COG220, COG230, COG240)
Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, accounting, business, IT, or related field preferred
Advanced SQL querying and data optimization skills
Proficiency in creating visualizations using Tableau / Power BI
Familiarity with electronic health records and claims data
Ability to learn quickly and take direction
Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads
Strong problem-solving skills, & critical thinking skills to evaluate large workloads
Demonstrate strong self-motivation and discipline
Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Excellent people skills and team oriented
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
SSIS/SSRS experience preferred
Familiarity with value-based contracting preferred
Project management experience preferred
