Responsibilities

Support and enhance high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite.

Analyze and resolve software-related issues for internal and external customers.

Document specifications, design, features, and operation of applications before production roll-out.

Demonstrate proficient knowledge in primary discipline and developing knowledge in related disciplines.

Execute solution enhancements to improve performance and availability.

Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership.

Ensure adherence to technology standards during system development.

Explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to improve efficiency.

Continuously improve knowledge of new technologies integrated into the Cotiviti product suite.

Mentor other developers and follow the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle.

Complete all responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Required

BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, and 4+ years of relevant experience

Optimization and tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers

4-5 years' experience with languages: Java or Python

4-5 years' experience with 3rd party platforms: Appian, Cloudera Hadoop

4-5 years' experience with databases: Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, Hive

4-5 years' experience with web services using Java and Spring Boot

Preferred

Strong knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices

Proficiency working with large data sets
