Responsibilities

Own the design and delivery of software services and website stacks for engaging creatives, cross-screen placements, targeting, optimization, relevancy, and advertiser experiences.

Build distributed software applications using cloud services and Amazon proprietary technologies to enhance customer and advertiser experiences.

Interface with various teams across Amazon in Advertising, retail category, traffic generation, vendor management, and analytics.

Experiment, innovate, and deliver in a fast, agile, and reliable manner with high quality and low technical debt.

Collaborate with product managers, software development managers, software development engineers, and quality assurance engineers to improve product and technical quality.

Required

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
