SMT Process Engineer - New Product Specialist

Responsibilities
Evaluate new engineering designs for manufacturability and collaborate to resolve findings.
Assess new SMT technologies to support new product designs.
Manage a complete SMT line and have programming knowledge of all SMT line elements.
Troubleshoot production defects and enhance processes for root cause resolution.
Optimize manufacturing processes, including change-over/setups, to maximize efficiency.
Work in a team-based mindset to ensure buy-in from all relevant parties.

Required
BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Several years New Product Introduction experience, Emphasis on DFM
5+ years of directly related SMT manufacturing experience.
IPC-610/JSTD-001 certification required.
Circuit CAM and Gerber good working knowledge/understanding is required.
