Responsibilities

Specific project assignments and required technical skillset will vary based on the team’s existing need.
Projects this team member will work on may include, but not limited to: materials data/analytics, soft materials, and materials test/characterization.
Interest or experience with welding, materials science, metallurgy, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering or similar. Hands on experience in a welding discipline and process documentation.
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements: interest or experience with materials science, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, nanoscience, microscopy, welding engineering.
Hands-on experience through academic research, project teams, machine shops, hackathons, or industry internships.
Demonstration of exceptional results through a range of different pursuits.
High self-motivation and drive to execute quickly with excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
