Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable network architectures based on Cisco technologies.

Develop and document network design specifications, including diagrams and technical documentation.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.

Required

Local to Richmond, VA

Cisco CCNP Datacenter or Enterprise, CCIE or CCDE certification

5-10 years of experience in Configuring, and troubleshooting networking equipment

Strong knowledge and skills in network design, architecture, and optimizing network solutions

Extensive knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP, VTP, and VRF's)

Experience with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, 802.1x)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Team player, problem solver, and lifelong learner

Preferred

Experience or willingness to learn and support other various technologies such as Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE, Sophos, or Brocade
