Responsibilities

Lead multiple teams of technical staff in the Site Development Department.
Manage local Group Managers directly and guide technical staff for overall completion of technical deliverables.
Coordinate the attainment of business outcomes across the region.
Engage with market leaders to set business plans for the Site Development practice.
Maintain alignment between teams and the overall company strategy.
Manage aspects of large land development projects including budgeting, design, testimony, and client engagement.
Possess relationships within the development community and demonstrate a strong track record of managing successful land development projects.
Demonstrate business management experience including workload forecasts, business planning, attainment of KPI’s, recruitment, and staff development.
Utilize strong leadership skills for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Prioritize, manage time effectively, and work both independently and within a team environment.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Required
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; licensure in state of New Jersey preferred
15-20 years of related experience with technical aspects of land development, including managerial experience
Candidate must be fully versed in local and state design standards and land use regulation as relates to site/civil engineering design
Candidate must have experience managing all aspects of large land development projects, including budgeting, design, testimony, client engagement, etc
Must possess relationships within the broader development community and demonstrate a strong track record of managing and completing successful land development projects
Candidate must have demonstrated business management experience, including workload forecasts, business planning, attainment of KPI’s, invoicing/collections, recruitment, and staff development
Strong leadership skills, including team-building, collaboration, and participation in strategic planning
Well-organized, collaborative, self-motivated candidate with an ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and work both independently and within a team environment

Master’s Degree or MBA preferred
