Responsibilities
Lead an engineering team in developing JavaScript/TypeScript libraries for video playback.
Integrate with JavaScript video players and work with MSE/EME APIs.
Work with the open-source Shaka Player project.
Value collaboration with teammates and stakeholders.
Understand deadlines, constraints, and scope of delivery to ensure project success.
Be an analytic problem solver with autonomy and a collaborative approach.
Cultivate a strong team culture where engineers of diverse backgrounds can grow.

Required
4 years leading an engineering team with prior senior-level development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Must have experience integrating with JavaScript video players and working with MSE/EME APIs
Must have experience working with the open-source Shaka Player project
Must have an enthusiasm for building a JavaScript/TypeScript library that handles all aspects of video playback.
Value collaboration with teammates and stakeholders.
Understanding deadlines, constraints and scope of delivery and experience working with stakeholders to ensure the right balance between these are met, setting expectations and handling risks early.
Being an analytic problem solver with a strong sense of autonomy, and with an open collaborative approach to getting the job done.
Interest in cultivating a strong team culture where engineers of diverse backgrounds can grow.
