Responsibilities
Practice servant leadership and embody Agile values and Scrum practices.
Facilitate Scrum events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
Remove impediments and foster continuous improvement within the scrum teams.
Ensure transparency by maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on project progress.
Empower team members to self-organize and make decisions.
Resolve conflicts and promote collaboration among team members.
Monitor and track the team’s progress toward sprint goals.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the business community, understanding their informational and operational needs.
Document current and future state business processes in collaboration with business partners.
Formulate and define project scope, schedule milestones, tasks, and objectives.
Prepare and present statements of work and proposals for project activities.
Provide regular reporting and updates on project status, budget impacts, and objective achievement to IS management and business units.

Required
Experience working with data teams, and a sound technical foundation in SQL and software development best practices.
Ability to guide teams through sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Strong project management skills, including creating and maintaining project documentation (project plans, goals, staffing, schedules, risks, etc.).
Experience with both waterfall and agile project management approaches.
Ability to define project scope, milestones, tasks, and objectives.
Proficient in risk management and contingency planning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Active listening skills to understand stakeholder needs and concerns.
Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations effectively.
Skilled in resolving conflicts within teams or between team members.
Foster collaboration, trust, and respect among team members.
Ability to assess the project environment, identify risks, and adapt accordingly.
Understand the context in which the project operates and adjust strategies as needed.
Take initiative to address challenges and drive progress.
Preferred
Proficiency in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Understand the principles behind agile practices and how to apply them effectively.
Familiarity with agile tools and techniques for backlog management, burndown charts, and velocity tracking.
