Responsibilities
Direct the design and installation of new or replacement electrical, mechanical, and automation equipment.
Assist in developing standards for reliability and guidelines for engineering and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with other staff on large and complex projects to provide plant-specific technical expertise.
Lead the design and development of electrical projects and initiatives within the plant.
Work with planners/schedulers to develop detailed shutdown work plans.
Establish repair priorities through communications with operating departments, maintenance associates, and planners.
Ensure engineering drawings, maintenance procedures, and technical information are up to date.
Provide direction to maintenance associates and contract labor.
Optimize spares holding levels, develop efficient supply contracts, and minimize stock holding costs.
Develop and organize training programs for maintenance associates related to operations, maintenance, and safety.
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and take preventive measures.
Assist in other maintenance activities across the organization as required.

Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
2 years of experience in an electrical engineering role or 2 years of Industrial Maintenance Engineer experience
Preferred
5 years of industrial maintenance engineer experience
Heavy manufacturing experience in the implementation of automation projects with successful cost and performance outcomes
