Program Manager - Manufacturing (Electrical)

Responsibilities
Lead and manage manufacturing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, supply chain, and quality assurance to achieve project goals.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency. Utilize lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Coordinate with department managers to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Ensure that all resources are utilized efficiently to support project timelines and production schedules.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations. Proactively address issues as they arise and implement contingency plans to maintain project momentum.
Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project progress and manufacturing performance. Prepare regular status reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Foster strong relationships and effective communication across departments to facilitate seamless project execution. Serve as a liaison between manufacturing, engineering, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred. Or equivalent experience.
Proven experience (5+ years) in program management within the electrical manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and quality control.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) to manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving operational excellence.
Preferred
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
