Responsibilities

Assist all financial aspects of the plant in Pomona, CA through a strong growth phase and beyond. Assist an expansion project currently in execution

Partner closely with the Plant Controller in ensuring financial transparency and accuracy, execution of internal controls, reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, monitoring, and adherence to KPI’s while collaborating with finance teams within and outside of the plant

Complete financial planning and reporting activities

Analyse and monitor key performance indicators and business performance and create regular reports to management

Review and analyze financial statements before and after month-end close. Prepare and post necessary accruals

Assist in the development of periodic forecasts and annual budgets as well as performing in-depth variance analysis, summarizing, and explaining the results using profit bridges

Act as a key point of contact for other functional teams within and outside the plant

Assist automation and digitalization projects from conceptualization to implementation

Support monthly grey reporting for quality, cycle counts, factory scorecard, etc.

Assist productivity and other savings calculation and review results. Ensure results are reconciled and reported

Track CAPEX project progress in terms of PO creation, invoice receipt from the vendor, reconciliation, and compile and report monthly CAPEX spends

Support all other ad-hoc initiatives in finance as well as other strategic initiatives in the plant as required

Coordinate with other locations to share knowledge as well as best practices
