Responsibilities
Creating CAD models of parts and assemblies for new product design.
Generating documentation, drawings, and layouts to support product development.
Maintaining engineering documentation through Engineering Change Orders.
Incorporating drawing changes for existing product documentation.
Creating illustrations and documentation for assembly fixtures and procedures.
Performing Document Control tasks by distributing Engineering Change Orders.
Supporting engineering and production documentation efforts.
Working collaboratively in a team environment.

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical or electrical design
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.
This position will require the ability to gain security clearance.
Preferred
Two years of experience with mechanical CAD design software (Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks) or similar CAD applications
Two years of experience with PCB design CAD tools (Altium, Orcad, Mentor Graphics Pads) or similar CAD applications
Self-starter that works independently on assigned task
Good organization skills
Working knowledge of Mil Specification and Standards
Strong oral and written communication skills to interface with key internal and external customers
Strong analytical skills
Associates Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred
Requires a degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness to design and deliver highly advanced solutions
Background in defense industry
