Responsibilities

Aid in legacy product migration by modernizing the Windows COTS platform.

Evaluate the legacy monolithic architecture, break out the rules engine, and provide customized data structures for transitioning to a microservices model.

Embrace DevOps principles, continuous delivery, and support of production applications.

Learn new technologies, stay updated on cloud architecture trends, and drive organizational adaptation to best practices.

Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.

Implement unit testing and ensure end-to-end development with a 'you build it, you own it' mentality.

Collaborate with the team on Agile Software Development practices.

Communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Maintain a passion for software development, innovation, and staying abreast of industry trends.

Required

At least 5 years of experience delivering applications from architectural design to production implementation.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in deploying scalable, distributed systems or multi-node database paradigms via Docker/Kubernetes.

At least 3 years of experience with cloud software design, containerized micro-services & distributed caching with Spring Boot and AWS (highly preferred).

Sr. Level Python coding and concept knowledge.

Experience in End-to-End Development You build it, you own it mentality and practices (Design, Develop, Test, and Deploy).

Experience in Unit Testing your applications and code to deployments.

Working knowledge of Window COTS products & applications.

Experience in Agile Software Development.

Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.

Passion for software development, the latest trends, and innovation.
