Responsibilities

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

Design client-side and server-side architecture

Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

Write effective APIs

Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software

Create security and data protection settings

Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

Required

Exemplary technical skills in modern javascript frameworks (e.g. TypeScript, Next.JS), application deployment and CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions, Lambda), testing (e.g. Cypress), data analytics (e.g. BigQuery and Google Analytics processing), monitoring and performance (e.g. New Relic)

Progressive engineering experience including researching new technologies, performing root cause analysis, code review and testing, translating business requirements into technical specifications, picking up large, complex tasks and refining them into more easily solvable subtasks

Excellent communication skills

Experience with and preference for remote work

Fluent spoken and written English
