Responsibilities

Maintain strategy & audience understanding for the game and ensure the development team's efforts align with creating a successful product & business

Identify product choices that create competitive advantages and adapt to changing market dynamics

Connect product strategy with broader organizational and company strategy

Support strategic planning and forecasting processes for the Business Unit

Oversee data, research, analytics, and other Insights areas of expertise

Ensure efficient resource allocation and workforce planning

Manage, lead, mentor, elevate performance, and support career growth for Insights Rioters within the BU

Lead staffing and hiring for Insights positions on the BU

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus 5+ years of relevant experience (an advanced degree can account for up to 2 years of experience)

Familiarity with both analytics and research and 5+ years experience in the gaming industry

3+ years experience working directly in game development

4+ years experience with MySQL-based databases

High proficiency of SQL, Laravel, Vue.js

Knowledge of the MVC design pattern, Code Versioning tools (Git & GitHub)

Excellent teamwork, team leadership, communication, collaboration and stakeholder management

Experience working in cross-functional teams

Preferred

Good knowledge of the Amazon Web Services cloud platform

Knowledge of Docker

Experience with Continuous Deployment tools

Experience leading complex efforts with multiple collaborators from product\design teams

Familiarity with Roblox Studios
