Responsibilities
Provide leadership and Tier II technical support, assisting the IT Support Specialist I
Implement new software/hardware and maintain existing infrastructure
Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop effective solutions
Maintain standard machine images and assist with patching updates
Lead investigations into software/hardware issues and determine appropriate solutions
Offer onsite and remote support to end users
Direct IT projects and implement new systems/software
Serve as backup for the IT Manager during their absence
Participate in on-call rotation

Required
Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of help desk experience preferred
Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Suite
Familiarity with hybrid environments
Strong knowledge of network aspects (LAN/WAN, ports, IPs, server knowledge)
Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods
Lift, push, and pull a minimum of forty pounds with reasonable accommodations
Stand, bend, stoop, and crouch as needed
Work in an environment with exposure to animals and allergens
Occasionally drive company vehicles
Preferred
Technical certifications are a plus
May include weekends and holidays
Some on-call responsibilities
