Responsibilities

Develop innovative design solutions by creating ideas, concepts, and detailed designs that align with customer needs and marketing inputs using SolidWorks.

Conduct comprehensive engineering analyses, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and product testing, to ensure product compliance with all performance and safety standards.

Formulate and implement test plans, managing technical project aspects such as schedules, costs, and capital spending to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.

Utilize advanced knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, including injection molding, extrusions, and assembly operations, to optimize product designs and ensure manufacturability.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and quality assurance, to integrate diverse perspectives into the design process and enhance product development.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field

4+ years of experience designing and developing products, mainly focusing on plastic components from initial concept to commercial launch, is required

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is required

4+ years of experience working within cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, quality assurance, and engineering, is required

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential

Candidates who thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and have experience collaborating with design engineers
