Responsibilities
Collaborate and consult teams across the enterprise to improve the reliability of their systems and practices
Leverage data to build and deliver automated advice for teams on possible improvements
Prototype potential solutions to critical business problems impacting the wider enterprise
Investigate long running production issues in Capital One systems and propose solutions
Influence Capital One culture to be in alignment with the Enterprise strategy on Reliability

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
3+ years of experience with large databases and data analytics
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering concepts such as SLOs
