Responsibilities

Define the approach, maintain ownership and accountability for the schedule, align the business position to corporate objectives, ensure quality deliverables, and manage full authorization and approval of the final customer-facing package for assigned proposal and contract projects.

Review and understand RFPs from both nationwide and worldwide AspenTech customers.

Ensure financial details for each proposal/contract follow AspenTech's needs for Banking, Legal, Security, Development, Business/Commercial Terms and Conditions.

Prepare and manage customer correspondence and communications.

Follow and reference historical pricing and market assessments to support internal pricing reviews.

Facilitate the corporate authorization and approval process, adhering to corporate guidelines and commercial model.

Work with various departments to determine approaches and prepare proposals and contract documents.

Act as the primary point of contact with internal and external customers, providing support, administrative, and organizational services regarding proposals and contracts.

Provide up-to-date information into sales pipeline and forecasting data accurately and aligned with proposal solutions as iterations are negotiated.

Identify and document commercial and technical risks for each proposal.

Complete large-scale, complex proposals with minimal oversight or coordination of a broad team of subject matter experts within the organization.

Provide supervisor responsibilities to ensure quality deliverables and adherence to AspenTech processes for other proposals and contracts managed by less experienced team members.

Lead process improvement initiatives focused on improving the overall efficiency of the team.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Communications or related field.

Excellent administrative, organizational, interpersonal skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Leadership skills to oversee and provide quality feedback to other team members.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products.

Preferred

3-5 years of electric utility industry and/or automation/SCADA project experience preferred.

Direct experience in managing commercial contracts between customers and vendors preferred.
