Responsibilities
Lead the sales efforts for Phibro beef product portfolio within assigned geography
Utilize Phibro resources and training to develop working knowledge of beef product portfolio by: Comprehending the scientific principles behind each product and their application. Positioning features and benefits to meet customer needs.
Be present at trade shows and industry events to build Phibro brand and grow in professional knowledge, experience, and relationships.
Provide product support for customers, key influencers, and end users ensuring proper use of Phibro beef products.
Must be able to manage all available resources for business growth and retention.
Inform team members and beef leadership of evolving issues/trends in the beef industry, as well as key activities and learnings with customers, key influencers, and end users.
Provide input to beef business director, product director(s), and finance partner for: Pricing of products and services to maximize customer value and margin contribution. Input on sales support materials needed in the field. Report on industry, customer, and competitive trends within assigned area.
Proactive and consistent use of Phibro's CRM system.

Required
B.S. in animal science/animal nutrition with beef experience, or other agriculture related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years industry experience in sales position requiring portfolio and value selling, product support, and collaborative approach with preferred experience in beef and/or feed industry.
Demonstrated working knowledge of beef and nutrition industry network including; Beef producers, Feed and premix manufacturing companies, Nutritionists, Veterinarians, University faculty
Experience with, or willingness to learn, customer relation management (CRM) software.
Must reside in assigned geography and be willing to travel up to 50%.
Must have business acumen, energy and drive, positive attitude, client focused, flexible and empathetic.
Must have planning skills sufficient for establishing work priorities and meeting client commitments.
Must have proven sales skills and previous contact with clients and their operation.
Must have sales skills to effectively help the client to overcome obstacles.
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional levels.
Ability to do formal presentations to large groups of technical and non-technical people.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
Must be proficient using Email, phones, cell phones, and office equipment.
