Responsibilities
The Salesforce developer is responsible for collaborating with various departments and teams to create software deliverables and artifacts.
Adhere to the organization’s methodologies and propose improvements based on software development best practices.
Perform Salesforce admin duties and provide integration platforms development support.
Participate in all phases of software development including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and documentation creation.
Attend regularly scheduled meetings to discuss tasks and provide status reports.

Required
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science or a related field
Proven record of accomplishment working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-functional teams
4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Admin and Developer
Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 100+ users
Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks
Experience with programming languages such as SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and CSS
Experience with batch data and real-time stream processing on the Salesforce platform
Experience with Application Development & Configuration including Lightning App Builder, Flows, Validations rules, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Experienced in developing UI pages using the LWC framework
Experience with Salesforce API integration for applications residing on various platforms
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other integration tools
Platform Developer I Certification is a must
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD)
Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
Experience with SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (Github, BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX)
Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn plus Excellent written/verbal communication & documentation skills
Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards would be a plus
Experience with cloud solutions/technologies, specifically AWS, is also a plus
Ability to adjust to changing situations to address emergencies, program changes, or production requirements
