Responsibilities

Support and maintain existing applications, ensuring optimal functionality and addressing any issues as they arise

Engage in custom web programming to meet specific business needs

Design and architect databases, with a focus on efficiency and security

Contribute to the planning and running of two-week sprints, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion

Stay current with healthcare industry trends and terminology to ensure the applications meet the needs of the industry

Collaborate with a team of data scientists and other professionals to achieve project goals

Utilize full-stack development skills, with a 50/50 focus on front-end and back-end development

Employ knowledge of C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Visual Studio in daily tasks

Work on a variety of projects, maintaining flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst/Software Developer or in a similar role

Must have experience working in the Healthcare domain

Proficiency in programming languages including C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML

Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture

Extensive knowledge of databases with Microsoft SQL

Ability to work with on-prem and Azure cloud services for deployment and hosting

Knowledge of RESTful APIs for integration with other systems

Understanding of source control systems like TFS for version management

Experience with CSS - Cascade Styling Sheets

Familiarity with Visual Studio development environment

Proven ability to analyze and solve complex programming and business challenges

Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles

Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
