Responsibilities
Implement and maintain all network, security, and management systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements
Oversee the daily administration and monitoring of the network and network management computer systems
Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
Document the network infrastructure thoroughly
Ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of the network environment
Collaborate with IT team members to design and deploy new network solutions
Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users
Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and industry trends
Provide onsite and after-hours support as needed, participating in an on-call rotation
Occasional travel to remote offices throughout the U.S.

Required
High School Diploma
4+ years of network engineering experience working with network firewalls, Cisco IOS, LAN switching, Wi-Fi technology, and configurations
Deep understanding of networking protocols
Relevant Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is highly desirable
Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls is desirable
Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools
Knowledge of network security principles and practices
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Desire to learn about new technologies and solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Willing and able to occasionally travel for business within the U.S.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Hands-on experience with network hardware and software from various vendors
