Responsibilities

Work alongside the Communications Team to identify and tell the stories of the GoFundMe community.
Source & research stories and trends on GoFundMe, news outlets, and social platforms.
Draft creative pitches to reporters highlighting inspiring GoFundMe fundraisers.
Maintain and build press lists, identify influencers, and support media monitoring.
Assist with general project management.

Required

A rising Junior or Senior in college or recent college graduate
Communications, Public Relations, Journalism Major or a related field
Excellent attention to detail
An effective communicator who can identify a good story
Can work independently, manage time effectively, with minimal supervision
Have a passion for storytelling, research and helping those in need
