Responsibilities

Perform PC hardware and printer installation, IP phone installation, imaging of computers, and setup of Microsoft Windows in a network environment.
Conduct network and software administration, including troubleshooting for end users.
Provide training and consultation on hardware and software, and make recommendations about future planning and IT resource needs.
Analyze business requirements to identify projects and technologies for business improvements, serving as the project manager for IT initiatives.
Provide technical support to end users via telephone, e-mail, or in person.
Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA, and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Follow all aspects of the site Environmental Policy as it pertains to normal job duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required with 1-3 years’ experience with Help Desk duties
Knowledge and experience with EDI inbound and outbound processes and specifications are required
Hardware troubleshooting skills
Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficient in written and spoken English
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, team-oriented environment

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred with two years working experience in an IT related field
Experience with CISCO switches preferred
Experience with IP phone switches and MAPICS system (AS400) maintenance a plus
