Responsibilities
Direct and oversee the development and implementation of engineering policies, programs, and processes
Identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and procedures
Manage the department's financial resources and budgets
Select, coach, and develop engineering staff
Lead, develop, and delegate tasks to the engineering team
Collaborate with customers and various teams on projects
Propose budgets and create reports for projects
Translate strategies into action plans and communicate goals and priorities

Required
Minimum required bachelor's degree (MBA or Master's in Engineering field preferred) and 5+ years of engineering experience in Aerospace industry with increasing responsibilities
Must have superior analytical and math skills and ability to make quick decisions
Ability to communicate in English and any another language is a plus
Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and ability to collaborate with multiple departments on various levels
Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product and/or existing product
Interpersonal skills to manage a team of engineers and give constructive criticism
Cascade and translate strategies into action plans
Communicate goals and priorities (company, department, team); ensure line of sight
Drive accountability/monitor progress and communicate, communicate, communicate
Experience with writing procedures, work instructions, processes and policies
Preferred
MBA or Master's in Engineering field
Experience in the Aerospace industry
Ability to communicate in multiple languages
