Responsibilities

Cultivate relationships and develop a pipeline of opportunities.
Maintain a high level of prospecting activities via email, phone work, and social selling.
Travel to trade shows, events, and networking functions for business development purposes.
Research and qualify prospects.
Understand prospects’ objectives, challenges, successes, and competitive environment.
Assist in the development of capabilities presentations and RFP responses.
Continually expand knowledge of Peak Technologies capabilities and industry.
Achieve/exceed Closed Opportunity Target.
Responsible for accurate and up-to-date forecasting in CRM.
Maintain a positive mindset, encourage teamwork, and act as an impeccable brand ambassador for Peak Technologies

Required

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in outbound sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Event or Trade Show Industry experience is a bonus whether it be in the event production field or some other segment of the industry.
Must be passionate about working with people and be customer centric.
Experience in event marketing, event management or event technology.
Thrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.
Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness and receptivity.
Actively works out solutions.
Identifies something valuable in being part of a team and ability to effectively collaborate.
Effective communication skills are required: including the ability to make effective presentations; prepare written documentation including proposals, quotations and letters; maintain accurate and complete client and project files.
Must be able to develop excellent rapport with existing and prospective clients.
Must have a good “business sense”.
Exhibit the ability to multi-task, sell, and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines. Good organization, detail and follow-up skills are required.
A vehicle in good, working order is a requirement.
