Responsibilities
Formulate preliminary space plans, design concept studies and sketches based on principles of interior design and human behavior.
Research, analyze, coordinate, and develop all contract documents including design presentations, 3D Models, specifications, and drawings.
Prepare construction documents, plans, elevations, and specifications to illustrate layouts, materials, and finishes.
Lead team in performing field visits, construction administration services, and coordination with consultants and contractors.
Manage interior design resource library, vendor contacts, and collaborate with other design professionals.
Prepare project cost analysis, proposals, and oversee project billings.
Efficiently manage project designers, design assistants, and interns, and review project scope, schedule, and budget.

Required
Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
Minimum of 7+ years interior design experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Interior Architecture (IA) scopes in residential and hospitality design standards
Excellent presentation skills, including space planning and drawing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, MS Suite, Sketchup (or similar 3D modeling software)
Strong experience in management and coordination of construction drawing sets with strong knowledge of construction detailing, materials, methods, fabrication, interior finishes, programing and codes
Experience selecting and specifying cabinetry, stone scopes, appliances, plumbing fixtures, door and cabinetry hardware, materials, and interior finishes.
Must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable in interfacing with clients, consultants, vendors and internal staff
Ability to field measure and document building condition
Ability to interact effectively with the design team on multiple projects
Ability to manage a team of junior designers through strong leadership, communication, collaboration, motivation, and mentorship
