Responsibilities
Take on Project Management responsibilities during design and construction phases, organize project meetings, develop project scope of work, and evaluate competitive bids.
Review new and existing mechanical systems designs, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.
Assist with facility condition assessment, site systems capacity planning, and evaluation of new systems or equipment.
Create and manage projects to achieve corporate sustainability goals such as energy and water savings.

Required
Minimum 4 years of experience with high-tech electronics/semiconductor manufacturing or research facility, pharmaceutical bio-tech facility, or some other “high availability” and “high tech type of facility.
Positions Previously Held: Senior Facilities Engineer, Senior Design Engineer for a MEP Consulting Engineering Firm or Senior Design Engineer for a Design-Build Mechanical Contractor.
Working knowledge of design standards for Clean Rooms, Analytical Labs, Data Centers, Telecom Rooms, Offices, Mechanical Rooms, and Central Utility Plants.
Able to multitask and to keep project data organized and up to date.
B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Licensing: PE license or equivalent technical background. Technical Strength: Strong HVAC and Process Piping skills. Experience with Facility Control systems. Good working knowledge of electrical power systems. Good analytical skills.
